Job summary

Lowe Engineers, a part of MacKay, is seeking a Field Engineer for the Atlanta area. You will perform field engineering, surveying, and layout with concrete emphasis, using total station instruments to ensure accurate layouts.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of field engineering, surveying, and layout experience.
• Self-perform experience of concrete.
• Proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience on projects over $1 million.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
• Experience coaching or mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and maintains permanent control throughout the line and grade portion of the project.
• Validates accurate dimensions by reviewing architectural and structural drawings prior to execution.
• Identifies discrepancies in drawings prior to execution.
• Engages the project lead on the line and grade portion of the project for scheduling and sequencing.
• Proficient with total station to perform an accurate layout.
• Delivers layout information to the project team for proper execution.
• Communicates with clients on a daily basis.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.*US Pay Range$25—$40 USDFull-time employees receive a well-rounded benefit package including access to our company-sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans.
