Job summary

Egan Company is seeking a Limited Energy Technician to serve Rochester, MN and Southern Minnesota. You will install, service, and repair Structured Cabling, Security, CCTV, Voice/Data, Fiber Optic, Paging and Sound Masking systems.

Responsibilities include start-up, commissioning, and tackling retrofit challenges while maintaining regular communication with the Project Manager and adhering to safety practices. A valid MN license or license within the first year is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid MN Power Limited Technician License, or obtain within first year.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair Structured Cabling, Security, CCTV, Voice/Data, Fiber, Paging and Sound Masking systems.
• Assist with start-up and commissioning of new equipment or systems.
• Overcome challenges on retrofits and new installations.
• Daily communication with the Project Manager.
• Complete daily safety plans and related documents.
