Job summary

Pacific Energy Concepts (PEC) is seeking an Energy Engineer to join our Vancouver, WA team. The role leads on-site audits, metering design, and system commissioning for multi‑utility monitoring deployments, working closely with customers.

The position requires strong technical depth, excellent communication, and 25–50% travel to customer sites in North America. Base office is in Vancouver, WA, with field responsibilities across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with field deployment experience.
• 3+ years in energy engineering, commissioning or building systems work.
• Experience with energy metering, data analysis, or M&V.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site field work through audits, metering design, and commissioning.
• Design submetering and data acquisition systems across electric, gas, and water.
• Onboard dashboards and deliver energy insights to customers.
• Coordinate commissioning with project management and vendors.
• Relay findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams.
