Job summary

QXO in Nashville area seeks an energy testing specialist to perform blower door, ventilation, duct leakage, and code-based inspections on new construction. Training is provided; HERS Rater preferred and building science knowledge is a plus.

You will verify ratings, work with site superintendents on scheduling, and prepare home performance reports using company software. Daily local travel in the Nashville/Murfreesboro region is required.

Qualifications

• Training will be provided for teachable candidates.
• Existing RESNET RFI / HERS Rater certification preferred.
• Energy testing exp. or knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new construction homes for inspection services.
• Conduct blower door testing.
• Conduct ventilation testing.
• Perform duct leakage testing.
• Conduct code-based energy inspections.
• Verify HERS or Energy Star ratings.
• Coordinate with site superintendents on scheduling.
• Communicate standards to customers and officials.
• Conduct infrared scans and prepare reports.
• Log results in company software and report writing.
