Job summary

Nehers is seeking Energy Auditors to perform on-site residential energy audits in Delaware and deliver actionable recommendations to reduce energy usage and improve home comfort.

In this field-based role, you will inspect HVAC, insulation, lighting, and appliances, analyze utility data, and prepare detailed reports. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the territory are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in residential energy auditing or building performance, or in commercial energy auditing or construction with focus on energy efficiency.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software for energy modeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site energy audits for residential customers and install energy-saving measures.
• Inspect insulation, HVAC systems, lighting, and appliances for efficiency and safety.
• Collect and analyze utility data to determine baseline energy usage.
