Job summary

Picarro is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer – Oil, Gas & Chemicals to drive adoption of real-time emissions platforms at customer sites across the U.S. This role emphasizes field training, workflow integration, and cross-functional collaboration with HSSE, Operations, and Customer Success.

You will lead pilots, design executions, and enablement programs to embed digital workflows. The role requires hands-on field work, travel up to 70%, and comfort operating at refinery and chemical plant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, chemistry, industrial operations, or a related field.
• 5+ years in emissions monitoring or digital solution deployment with software enablement experience.
• Comfort with real-time monitoring tech and fenceline monitoring concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales conversations, pilot design, and define success metrics.
• Onboard Environmental, HSSE, and Operations personnel with hands-on training.
• Coach teams through real-time emissions workflow adoption and dashboards.
• Coordinate with Customer Success and Product to translate field feedback into product improvements.
• Develop adoption playbooks and enablement materials for scale.
• Ensure compliance awareness with refinery regulatory frameworks.
