Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leader in building intelligence, seeks an Electronics Technician 1 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit. You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers.

The role requires travel up to 25%, a valid driver's license, HS diploma or GED, and strong communication skills; you will mentor junior technicians and ensure safety and NEC-compliant installations.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Executes on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation, and provides technical support to customers.
• Mentors and trains junior team members in installation techniques and industry best practices.
• Communicates with project teams and maintains safety and quality standards.
