Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 1 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) team. The role involves on-site installations, maintenance, and testing of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers.

You will work with intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, and IT systems, supporting project teams across high-growth markets. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Vendor certifications in IDS/ACS/CCTV systems preferred.
• Electrical Apprenticeship graduation preferred.
• An additional 3 years of electronics installation/maintenance experience preferred.
• MS Office skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide customer support.
• Ensure safety and reliability by following project safety plans and NEC standards.
• Communicate with MC Dean Project Teams and stakeholders regularly.
• Mentor and train junior team members in installation techniques and standards.
