Job summary

American Cementing LLC in Rifle, Colorado is seeking an ETech III to install, calibrate, maintain, and repair electronic and instrumentation systems on cementing equipment. This role supports field operations and maintenance teams to ensure reliability and safety.

Travel to job sites as needed, troubleshoot PLCs and sensors, and assist with safety programs and training. Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 2–4 year technical diploma or engineering program.
• 2+ years hands-on experience in electronic/instrumentation maintenance in an industrial/oilfield setting.
• Experience with PLCs, sensors, instrumentation calibration, and electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electronic, electrical, and computer-based systems on cementing equipment.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation such as high-pressure transducers, flow meters, densitometers, and sensors.
• Perform PLC diagnostics and calibration work.
• Inspect repaired equipment for manufacturer-spec compliance.
• Complete maintenance documentation and inventory tasks.
• Mentor and train junior technicians and operators.
