Job summary

Parsons seeks an Electronics Technician III to support FAA TSSC-5 under a multi-year contract. The role involves installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of NAS-related electronic systems, with responsibility for safety, quality, and documentation on FAA sites across the U.S.

Position requires up-to-date knowledge of analog/digital electronics, RF fundamentals, and use of test equipment. Willingness to travel up to 100% within the USA is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Five+ years of working knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Knowledge of RF fundamentals and communications equipment.
• Experience with standard electronic test equipment (DMMs, scopes, signal generators).

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, and remove electronic systems and equipment in field settings.
• Troubleshoot and repair at unit, board, or module level using standard test gear.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical orders.
• Assist with site preparation and pre-installation checks.
• Document work logs, parts used, and test results.
• Ensure safety, quality compliance, and security requirements on FAA sites.
