Job summary

ACQCENTRIC INC. is seeking an Electronic Technician I to join the Engineering Support team in Springfield, Virginia. You will assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems and field devices in a fast-paced government contractor environment.

The role requires hands-on cable pulling, device mounting, and testing activities, with a focus on accurate blueprint interpretation and adherence to ESS codes. A Secret clearance capability is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of related experience.
• High School Diploma or GED with reading, writing and analytic skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparations for cable pulling and cable terminations.
• Assist in cable testing with VOM, continuity tester, TDR, OTDR.
• Assist in mounting devices such as readers, door contacts, cameras.
• Locate field devices on a blueprint and interpret elevation/mounting details.
• Repair and maintain electronic security system equipment.
• Support deployment and sustainment activities for government and contractor stakeholders.
