Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security seeks an Electronic Security Systems Technician who thrives on travel and field service. The role involves installing and maintaining security systems, interfacing with customers onsite, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, electrical experience, and the ability to travel up to half the time. CPR/First Aid, an electrical certificate, and clean background checks are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel 50% on average, may be higher during peak times.
• Valid CPR/First Aid card.
• Valid electrician certificate or trainee card.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical wiring experience.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Good communication skills to interface with customers.
• Ability to schedule appointments and understand code requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of minimum liability insurance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random screenings.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects.
• Serves as the face of Evergreen to customers onsite with training.
• Ensures safety through compliance with regulations.
• Handles service orders and project administration.
• Performs follow-up to ensure client is ready for inspection.
