Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security is seeking a Traveling Electronic Security Systems Technician to install, test, and maintain security projects across travel-heavy assignments. You will interface with customers onsite, deliver product training, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates bring strong electrical wiring experience, valid credentials, and the ability to coordinate appointments while maintaining high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel extensively.
• Valid CPR/First Aid card.
• Valid electrician certificate or trainee card.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical wiring experience.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Good communication skills to interface with customers.
• Ability to schedule appointments and follow instructions; understand code requirements.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Teamwork and positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of minimum liability insurance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random background, drug, and MVR screenings.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects.
• Serves as the face of Evergreen to customers onsite with great service and training.
• Ensures safety by complying with state and federal regulations.
• Handles service orders and project administration.
• Performs follow-up to ensure client is inspection-ready.
