Job summary

New Era Technology, LLC. is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to install, start up, and service cooling equipment, while troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems onsite in Oregon.

You will read wiring diagrams, perform preventive maintenance, test equipment, and complete service reports. Travel to customer locations as needed, with a typical full-time schedule and opportunities for growth within a supportive, learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience repairing or maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment, HVAC systems, manufacturing equipment, automation systems, compressors, pumps, generators, or similar machinery.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience working on 200-440V electrical equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable replacing electrical and mechanical components.
• Able to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, and service cooling equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Replace faulty parts such as motors, sensors, relays, switches, actuators, and other components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Read electrical wiring diagrams and basic technical drawings.
• Test equipment and verify proper operation after repairs.
• Complete service reports after each visit.
• Provide professional customer service while working onsite.
• Travel to customer locations when needed.
