Job summary

SPATCO in Houston, TX is seeking an energetic Electrician to install, test and maintain electrical systems, read blueprints, and use meters and testers to verify proper operation.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Journeyman Electrician experience, can lift 75–100 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and communicate effectively with team and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of Journeyman Electrician experience.
• Knowledge of electrician standards & codes required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical equipment used in petroleum industry.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning systems using testing equipment.
• Install conduits, pull wire and connect to circuit breakers and distributors.
• Inspect electrical systems for safety, codes and manufacturer requirements.
• Advise management and team on hazards and safe operation.
