Job summary

Obsolete Site is hiring an Electrician (MVO) to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems, panels, lighting, and related equipment in a demanding environment. The role requires repair of low voltage equipment and adherence to maintenance schedules.

You will diagnose and repair system faults, and perform testing with standard electrical diagnostic tools to ensure safe operation. The position is a term appointment NTE 13 months with duties in Jackson, SC.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform the work of an Electrician (MVO) with minimal supervision.
• Experience in repairing, overhauling, maintaining, servicing and installing 120/240/480 volt systems.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains and repairs electrical wiring systems, relay switches, panels, outlets, street and field lighting, and electrical fixtures.
• Repairs low voltage equipment on AC circuits as part of organizational support.
• Performs maintenance services, diagnoses malfunctions, and repairs controls according to schedules or work orders.
• Tests circuits and equipment using voltmeters, ammeters, wattmeters, ohmmeters, analyzers or similar devices.
