Job summary

The Bergaila Companies seek an Electrician II to support critical field operations in Pecos, TX. You will maintain, install, and troubleshoot electrical systems on oil and gas sites, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while contributing to production uptime.

Youll work with a team, manage field equipment, and report issues to supervisors. A strong emphasis on safety, PPE, and on-call rotation defines this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of related work experience in electrical systems.
• Knowledge of oil and gas electrical codes and practices.
• PEC Safeland Certification or ability to obtain before start; ANSI Z390.1-2017 H2S training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, troubleshoot electrical equipment in the field (control panels, cables, surface equipment).
• Change motors, sheaves and belts; select appropriate sheave sizes.
• Use hot sticks for fuses, reclosers and high-voltage tasks.
• Run conduit, pull wires, install grounding and surge protective devices.
• Install Points of Connection (POCs) and emergency systems.
• Report issues and coordinate repairs with supervisors.
• Keep company vehicles serviced, clean, and stocked for daily ops.
• Be available for 24-hour call, including weekend rotation and overtime.
