Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with residential electrical systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the client’s deployment market.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Test and diagnose electrical systems using appropriate tools and devices.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople.
• Complete project worksheets accurately and on time.
• Maintain daily work calendar and time clock records.
• Check and respond to company email at minimum twice daily.
• Manage van inventory and submit transfer emails to Administrative Assistant as required

• Ability to interact courteously with team members


• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the client’s deployment market

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures


• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs


• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams


• Test and diagnose electrical systems using appropriate tools and devices


• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems


• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople


• Complete project worksheets accurately and on time


• Maintain daily work calendar and time clock records


• Check and respond to company email at minimum twice daily

Driving Requirements

This role requires operating a company-owned vehicle. Candidates must have an acceptable MVR.

• DWI/DUI, license suspension, reckless driving, drug charges, leaving the scene of an accident, vehicular homicide, or similar offenses within the past 5 years


• More than two moving violations and one or more at‑fault accidents in the past 3 years


• Two or more at‑fault accidents in the past 3 years

Physical Requirements

This role involves regular lifting (up to 50 lbs.), carrying (up to 40 lbs.), stooping, kneeling, climbing ladders, standing, walking, and working with hands. Color vision, depth perception, and hearing are required.

Work Environment

Employees may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, wet or humid environments, fumes or dust, work near moving mechanical parts, and work in high or precarious places.

Equipment

Field Electricians are required to supply their own hand tools. Daisy Sarasota will provide additional equipment and materials as needed for assigned projects.
