Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is hiring an Electrical Technician II to maintain and support pipeline facilities across the Southwest Region. The role involves hands-on electrical work, troubleshooting complex systems, and performing preventive maintenance outdoors.

You will inspect motors, switchgear, MCCs, instrumentation, and related systems; coordinate with regional teams on projects; and ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. 100% safety focus expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to reside within 40 miles of the reporting location.
• Preferred: Electrical Journeyman certification or participation in an accredited apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical equipment to support safe and efficient pipeline operations.
• Maintain and repair a variety of pipeline facilities and equipment, including motors, switchgear, motor control centers, instrumentation, and related systems.
• Support capital projects, facility upgrades, and maintenance activities while coordinating with regional operations and technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, maintenance programs, Operator Qualification requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Complete maintenance documentation, inspections, and work orders within Maximo and other required systems.
• Participate in the maintenance on-call rotation and provide emergency response support as required.
• Assist with contractor oversight, equipment evaluations, and the acquisition of materials needed to support maintenance and operational activities.
