Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is seeking an Electrical Controls Technician II to install, repair, diagnose and maintain electronic, pneumatic and mechanical control systems and related equipment at field stations.

The role includes leading other staff on routine controls tasks, planning work within budgets, ensuring safety compliance, calibrating transmitters and analyzers, and supporting emergency response and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2+ years of relevant training/experience.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with maintenance of electrical control systems and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, instrumentation and controls systems at stations.
• Inspect, calibrate and troubleshoot transmitters, analyzers and flow meters.
• Direct other staff in routine electrical controls tasks.
• Plan work within annual budget and safety requirements.
• Calibrate gas chromatograph equipment and flow computers.
• Operate and maintain turbine/compressor package units as required.
