IES is seeking a Piece-Rate Electrical Technician in Webster, TX to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and efficient project execution on site.

Qualified candidates will have 2-4 years of electrical experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Travel may be required to support field operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2-4 years of electrical experience preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics is required or preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices.
• Ability to work with maintenance and construction teams.

Responsabilités

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical systems and equipment.
• Review project plans, specifications, and work orders to support accurate project execution.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all work complies with company policies and electrical codes.
• Coordinate with teams, vendors, and departments on project activities.
• Maintain records and documentation of electrical work and project activities.
• Support project timelines and resolve field operational concerns.
• Monitor equipment and job site conditions for safety and efficiency.
• Assist with training less experienced technicians as needed.
• Maintain professionalism in all customer interactions.
