(MIC) is a global technology and engineering company supporting semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, cleanroom, and mission-critical facility projects. MIC provides turnkey facility integration solutions, including cleanroom and MEP construction, DI water, gas and chemical supply systems, wastewater treatment, facility monitoring and control systems, installation, and maintenance services. Through Marketech International Corporation USA, we support major semiconductor and industrial projects across the United States.

Job Overview

Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a hands-on Field Electrical Engineer to support construction coordination, field execution, electrical troubleshooting, and commissioning activities for ultrapure water (UPW) systems supporting semiconductor and high-tech facility projects.

This role works closely with clients, system providers, general contractors, project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to help ensure UPW-related work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications, applicable codes, and project schedules. The Field Engineer will support installation planning, field verification, system testing, issue resolution, documentation, and construction readiness throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical troubleshooting skills, hands-on onsite construction experience, and the ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams and electrical drawings. Experience supporting semiconductor facilities, water treatment systems, UPW systems, wastewater treatment systems, industrial utilities, or high-tech construction environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support onsite construction coordination, scheduling, progress tracking, and field execution for UPW and related utility systems.
  • Coordinate with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and internal project teams to support project delivery.
  • Assist with construction sequencing, installation planning, material coordination, and field readiness.
  • Conduct site walks and field inspections to verify installation progress, identify issues, and support QA/QC activities.
  • Support electrical testing, troubleshooting, startup, commissioning, and system turnover activities.
  • Read and interpret one-line diagrams, electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Identify field issues, support root-cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions with appropriate project stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate field records, project documentation, test results, inspection records, and as-built information.
  • Assist with material takeoffs, procurement coordination, progress billing review, and project reporting.
  • Communicate project status, field conditions, risks, and follow-up items clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum of two years of onsite construction experience, preferably within semiconductor, industrial, high-tech facility, utility, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting, field problem-solving, and system-verification ability.
  • Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams, electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting onsite installation, construction coordination, testing, startup, commissioning, or field-execution activities.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and internal project teams.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, documentation discipline, and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple priorities in an active construction environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting semiconductor facility, cleanroom, industrial utility, high-tech manufacturing, or mission-critical facility projects.
  • Familiarity with National Electrical Code requirements and electrical construction standards.
  • Basic understanding of water treatment systems, including ultrapure water (UPW), wastewater treatment, process water, or facility utility systems.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks, or related design-coordination tools.
  • Experience supporting QA/QC inspections, commissioning, startup, testing, turnover, or construction-closeout documentation.
  • Experience working with electrical controls, instrumentation, motors, panels, variable frequency drives, or facility equipment connections.
  • Experience reviewing construction progress, billing support, material takeoffs, procurement needs, or field cost documentation.

This role involves regular onsite work in active semiconductor, industrial, cleanroom, and high-tech construction environments. The Field Electrical Engineer may work in office settings, construction areas, utility spaces, equipment rooms, cleanroom environments, and other active project locations.

The position requires the ability to perform site walks, participate in field inspections, support testing and commissioning activities, work around electrical and utility infrastructure, and wear required personal protective equipment. The Field Engineer must be comfortable managing changing field conditions, time-sensitive project needs, and coordination requirements across multiple project stakeholders.
