Job summary

Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, coordination, installation, and execution of electrical infrastructure for large-scale industrial and semiconductor construction projects in Phoenix, AZ.

This role will work closely with engineering teams, BIM designers, subcontractors, vendors, quality teams, and construction partners to ensure electrical work is safe, code-compliant, accurately documented, and completed according to project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Construction Engineering, Engineering Technology, or closely related field.
  • Strong electrical or electronics design background.
  • Experience with electrical design coordination, construction support, project engineering, or industrial facility projects.
  • Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, BIM coordination, and construction drawing review.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, equipment submittals, and project documentation.
  • Experience coordinating work with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and internal project teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, design revisions, and field issues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve, communicate technical issues clearly, and work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and coordinate electrical designs, drawings, layouts, and construction packages using BIM software, Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools.
  • Review electrical models and drawings with designers and engineering teams to verify accuracy, constructability, and code compliance.
  • Coordinate electrical scope across multiple work areas, including power distribution, low-voltage systems, controls, security systems, and associated infrastructure.
  • Perform clash detection reviews and collaborate with BIM, mechanical, structural, and construction teams to identify and resolve design conflicts before installation.
  • Support installation monitoring for electrical, low-voltage, and security systems to ensure work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate daily activities with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams to clarify scope, resolve technical issues, and maintain installation progress.
  • Attend construction coordination, sequencing, interface, QA/QC, and project-progress meetings; provide updates on electrical scope, risks, action items, and schedule impacts.
  • Track project progress, identify potential delays or field conflicts, and proactively coordinate corrective actions with project stakeholders.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of electrical and system failures, including corrective actions, system upgrades, and preventive maintenance needs when applicable.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, engineering reports, meeting minutes, project specifications, maintenance records, and progress updates.
  • Serve as a primary coordination point between electrical contractors, BIM teams, QA/QC personnel, specialty partners, and other project disciplines.
  • Support capital improvement initiatives, equipment upgrades, and electrical system modifications throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Promote a safe work environment and ensure electrical activities are completed in accordance with company procedures, project requirements, and applicable codes.

Position Summary

MICU is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, coordination, installation, and execution of electrical infrastructure for large-scale industrial and semiconductor construction projects. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical or electronics background, experience coordinating construction activities, and the ability to manage multiple design, installation, and project documentation requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience with electrical installation sequencing, field coordination, commissioning support, or construction quality control.
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and construction standards.
  • Experience working directly on an active construction site.

This role may require regular presence at active construction sites and project locations. The Electrical Engineer must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment that involves field coordination, engineering documentation, contractor communication, and cross-functional project meetings.
