Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing, LLC is seeking an entry-level Electrical Commissioning Technician 3 to assist with testing, maintenance, and installation of electrical equipment under supervision. You will support more experienced technicians while gaining foundational knowledge for progression.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) with 5+ years of related experience or training.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Reliable transportation to work sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing and maintenance of site/field equipment.
• Support installation, rearrangement, and removal of equipment and wiring.
• Perform basic testing, moving and adjustments of equipment.
• Assist field construction inspection to ensure NETA compliance.
• Maintain records and report inspection activities.
• Understand basic mathematics, measuring devices, and safety procedures (LOTO).
• Prepare equipment for testing as directed by the commissioning lead.
• Assist in operating load banks and equipment with proper PPE.
• Participate in Operational Risk Management meetings (ORMs).
