U.S. Electrical Testing is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Technician 2 to assist in basic testing, maintenance, and installation of electrical equipment under close supervision.

This entry-level role supports experienced technicians while gaining foundational knowledge for progression. The position requires a high school diploma with 3+ years of related experience or equivalent, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 3+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsabilités

• Assist in testing and maintenance of site/field equipment.
• Support installation, rearrangement, and removal of equipment and wiring.
• Perform basic testing, moving, and adjustments of equipment.
• Assist field construction inspection to ensure NETA compliance.
• Maintain records and report inspection activities.
• Apply basic math and safety procedures (LOTO).
• Prepare equipment for testing as directed by the commissioning lead.
• Assist in operation of load banks with proper PPE.
• Attend Operational Risk Management meetings (ORMs).
