Job summary

TIGA, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking a field electrician helper to assist journeyman or master electricians with conduit, tray, wire and electrical equipment installation in West Texas and surrounding areas.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders and working in varied environments. A valid Texas driver’s license and relocation to Monahans, TX before starting are required. This full-time position offers growth and training opportunities with a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 0-4 years in industrial electrical field in upstream Oil & Gas sector.
• Maintains an apprentice card showing that he or she is in an apprenticeship for the state of Texas.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman or Master Electrician with the installation of conduit, tray, wire and electrical equipment.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a professional manner with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to assist in conducting electrical work in accordance with relevant codes, and customer specifications.
• Effectively generate and communicate detailed work records and paperwork.
