Job summary

Peak Energy Solutions seeks an Electrical Apprentice to learn under Journeyman or Master Electricians. You will assist with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems across industrial, commercial, and residential settings, combining hands-on field work with classroom training.

Initially you will perform basic labor and support tasks, progressing to more technical electrical work as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Enrollment in electrical apprenticeship or training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and pre-employment screening.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles and systems.
• Ability to learn electrical schematics and drawings.
• Familiar with NEC/OSHA standards and safety practices.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop electrical skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians and follow instructions to safely complete tasks.
• Prepare, maintain, and clean work areas and job sites.
• Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from work areas.
• Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical wiring, conduit, devices, and equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to perform conduit installation and basic electrical work under supervision.
• Learn and follow applicable safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Assist with trenching, digging, and other labor tasks as required.
• Identify electrical components, materials, and equipment.
• Follow all safety codes, building regulations, and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or lead electricians.
