Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure seeks a vigilant Utility Technician to perform on-site meter work and access customer properties in the Florida service area.

You will drive to residential and commercial sites to read and service electric meters, ensuring safety and high-quality workmanship while delivering friendly customer service. The role requires 2+ years of customer service and physical ability; prior electrical exposure and ladder use are preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Two (2+) years of customer service experience.
• Two (2+) years of working with electricity and on ladders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Driving (75%/day)
• Entering residential and commercial property to access the electric meter to perform required work
• Setting, changing, or disconnecting the electric meter as well as reading investigation
• Working with energized electric equipment to respond to meter issue for Xcel
• Providing customer service with a responsibility to humility and to the customers we serve
• Working with pride and a high quality of workmanship
