Job summary

NELCO Worldwide is seeking a hands-on EHS Coordinator to work on manufacturing floors, active construction sites, and with field teams. The role is ideal for an early-career safety professional building broad experience in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, and training under experienced EHS leadership.

You will help translate safety requirements into practical actions that protect employees, support customers, and strengthen NELCO's safety culture across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and foundational safety principles.
• Excellent written communication, organization, follow-through and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate with employees, supervisors, project teams, and leadership in multiple environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel approx. 25–50% depending on project needs.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of manufacturing facilities, construction projects, and field-service activities and document corrective actions.
• Participate in project pre-mobilization meetings and safety reviews.
• Assist teams with Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs), JHAs, and risk assessments.
• Track corrective actions and elevate overdue or high-risk items.
