Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Field Education Program Manager based in the United States. This is a remote opportunity supporting a graduate Master of Social Work field education program.

The role provides administrative leadership for student placements, agency partnerships, and field education operations.

You’ll help build and maintain relationships with community organizations that provide meaningful internship experiences.

The position also contributes to student compliance tracking, accreditation activities, reporting, and program assessment.

Success requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, communication, and follow-through across multiple stakeholders.

You’ll collaborate closely with social work faculty and staff in a mission-driven higher education environment focused on equity and inclusive excellence.

The role is remote, with regular collaboration during business hours and several on-campus days each month.

Accountabilities
  • Field education administration: Provide day-to-day administrative support for the MSW field education program, maintaining accurate records for students, alumni, agency partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Agency partnerships: Support outreach and relationship-building efforts to identify and recruit new internship and field placement sites, while maintaining partnership records and agency contact databases.
  • Partnership agreements: Assist with processing, tracking, and documenting agreements with external agencies and ensure related information remains current and organized.
  • Student tracking and compliance: Monitor student progress and compliance with field education requirements, identifying outstanding items and supporting timely resolution.
  • Program coordination: Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions to keep field education activities organized and on schedule.
  • Outreach and events: Assist with planning and executing outreach events, presentations, and communications related to field education and agency engagement.
  • Accreditation and assessment: Support the preparation, editing, formatting, and organization of accreditation and assessment documentation related to field education requirements.
  • Documentation and communications: Prepare correspondence, memos, newsletters, brochures, databases, and other program materials with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Operational support: Respond to inquiries, maintain administrative systems, coordinate information across stakeholders, and take on additional responsibilities that support the field education team.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; a bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, social welfare, psychology, counseling, health sciences, human services, public health, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Administrative experience: At least one year of administrative assistant experience is highly preferred, particularly in environments requiring strong organization and detailed record management.
  • Relevant sector experience: Experience in higher education, behavioral health, human services, community organizations, or school settings is advantageous.
  • Communication: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, students, clients, and external partners through face-to-face interactions as well as email, video conferencing, and chat.
  • Technology proficiency: Working knowledge of Google Workspace tools such as Sheets, Forms, and Docs, along with Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Systems experience: Familiarity with learning management or internship management platforms such as Canvas, Blackboard, or Tevera is beneficial.
  • Administrative tools: Experience using mail merge for outreach and communication tracking and DocuSign for agreements and documentation is preferred.
  • Organization and attention to detail: Ability to manage multiple records, deadlines, communications, and administrative processes accurately and independently.
  • Mission alignment: A strong commitment to working effectively with diverse populations and contributing to an equitable, inclusive, and supportive educational environment.
