Job summary

Teton Science Schools is seeking a Field Education Program Manager to lead year-round school-based and custom youth programming, ensuring inclusive, science-informed, place-based learning experiences. The role also serves as Site Manager for the Jackson Campus, guiding operations, campus readiness, and staff coordination.

The position works with the Head of Field Education and Director of Curriculum & Educator Development to advance the EKIW initiative, connecting local students to public lands

Qualifications

• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in education.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in outdoor, experiential, or formal education.
• 2+ years in staff supervision or program management.
• Experience working with K–12 schools and educators.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• WFR, CPR, and AED certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, coordination, and delivery of school-year youth programs, including district partnerships and learning outcomes.
• Build and sustain relationships with teachers, districts, and schools to align with classroom goals and state standards.
• Represent Field Education in community events to strengthen partnerships.
• Collaborate on EKIW initiative integration within statewide strategy.
• Oversee Jackson Campus operations, readiness, and staff coordination.
• Coordinate campus logistics with operations, food service, and maintenance.
• Foster a culture of curiosity, inclusion, professionalism, and stewardship.
