Job summary

Teton Science Schools is seeking a Field Education Program Manager to lead year-round school-based and custom youth programming. This role also serves as Site Manager for the Jackson Campus, overseeing operations, campus readiness, and staff coordination.

The position collaborates with the Head of Field Education and the Director of Curriculum & Educator Development to advance the EKIW initiative and connect students with public lands through place-based science learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of outdoor, experiential, or formal education settings.
• Minimum of 2 years in staff supervision, coordination, or program management.
• Experience working with K-12 schools and educators.
• WFR, CPR, and AED certifications required.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, coordination, and delivery of school-year youth programs, including district partnerships and learning outcomes.
• Build and sustain relationships with teachers, districts, and schools to align programs with classroom goals and state standards.
• Represent Field Education in community and school outreach events to strengthen local partnerships.
• Collaborate on the EKIW initiative, ensuring integration within statewide strategy.
• Track and evaluate program participation, outcomes, and partner feedback.
• Coordinate campus logistics and maintenance across the Jackson Campus.
• Lead seasonal site readiness planning and occasional hosting of groups or events.
• Support risk management and participant well-being through proactive communication.
