Job summary

NexTier is seeking Field Electronic Technicians to support frac operations out of WTX. You will perform maintenance and repairs on hydraulic fracturing equipment, install and test electronic and electro-mechanical systems, and document all work in the field.

The role requires reading electrical schematics, operating test instruments, and traveling to sites for emergency repairs while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 0-10 years in field electronic/industrial maintenance.
• Must understand safety procedures and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on hydraulic fracturing equipment.
• Repair equipment in the field using hand and power tools.
• Install and configure electronic/electromechanical equipment.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring and components.
• Travel to locations for field repairs and diagnostics.
• Diagnose electrical problems from schematics and manuals.
• Test equipment to meet company standards before deployment.
• Document repairs, inspections, and testing activities.
