Job summary

Umsag is seeking a Driver / Support Engineer to deliver, set up, and support mobile medical equipment across Michigan and nearby states. This full-time, field‑based role combines driving, technical setup, and light troubleshooting to keep procedures running smoothly in patient facilities.

You will drive a 16‑ft box truck, calibrate equipment in procedure rooms, and ensure readiness 1 hour before procedures. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a dedicated field support team.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience driving a 16‑ft box truck.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical clearance.
• Comfort with physical work including lifting 50‑65 lbs and maneuvering equipment.
• Experience with electronics or equipment setup is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 16‑ft box truck to transport medical imaging equipment to hospitals and surgical centers in the region.
• Set up and calibrate equipment in procedure rooms, usually the day before scheduled cases.
• Ensure systems are operational and ready at least 1 hour before procedures.
• Troubleshoot minor issues on-site and escalate when needed.
• Leave no trace – reset procedure rooms to their original condition after use.
• Keep vehicle and equipment clean, maintained, and compliant with DOT and company standards.
