Umsag is seeking a Driver / Support Engineer to deliver, set up, and support mobile medical equipment across Michigan and nearby states. This full-time, field‑based role combines driving, technical setup, and light troubleshooting to keep procedures running smoothly in patient facilities.

You will drive a 16‑ft box truck, calibrate equipment in procedure rooms, and ensure readiness 1 hour before procedures. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a dedicated field support team.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience driving a 16‑ft box truck.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical clearance.
• Comfort with physical work including lifting 50‑65 lbs and maneuvering equipment.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• Technically inclined – can follow detailed setup procedures and basic troubleshooting protocols
• Experience in electronics, engineering, or equipment setup preferred (but not required)
• Professionalism and clear communication skills – you're the face of the company at medical facilities

Work Schedule & Travel

• Typical travel and setup occurs the day before scheduled procedures
• Travel may be in Michigan, Illinois and Indiana for assigned territory. Some cross‑coverage travel on an as needed basis.
• Requires some overnight stays; typically 3 – 7 overnight stays a month. All expenses paid for by the company.
• 80 hours of pay guaranteed every 2 weeks
• Flexibility required – occasional support of other drivers or facilities may be needed
