Job summary

Quanta Services, Inc. in West Texas seeks a blended Project Manager and Construction Manager for an on-site leadership role.

You will drive safe, efficient production across construction projects and balance field execution with project planning to optimize cost, schedule, and manpower. The role collaborates with project leadership, superintendents and craft personnel to remove obstacles, maintain momentum, and meet commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive construction experience in field execution or project management.
• Experience as a superintendent/foreman or PM is highly valued.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, schedules and scopes of work.
• Willingness to travel to West Texas project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field execution with a focus on production, manpower, schedule, safety and milestones.
• Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, project managers, subcontractors and other stakeholders to set priorities.
• Monitor schedules, look-ahead plans, labor productivity and costs; drive corrective actions.
• Maintain awareness of project costs, budgets, forecasts and scope changes.
• Walk the project to verify progress and resolve issues affecting production.
• Coordinate material, equipment, subcontractor, and workforce needs for safe execution.
• Communicate project status, risks and recovery plans to leadership and partners.
