Job summary

Thomas Park is seeking an Assistant Commercial Construction Superintendent to support on-site execution of commercial projects. Based in Annapolis, MD, you will work with the project Superintendent to keep sites safe, organized, and productive while coordinating subcontractors and tracking progress.

This field-based role offers growth to independently manage projects, requires strong communication, ability to read drawings, and willingness to learn from experienced leaders.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of commercial construction experience in an assistant/field role.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with subcontractors, PMs, and clients.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred, travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractor activities and monitor daily progress.
• Maintain safe, organized job sites and enforce safety requirements.
• Assist with schedules, look‑ahead planning, and punch lists.
• Document field conditions and communicate with the Superintendent.
