Qualifications
Experience with cost control, estimating, and project tracking.
Background as a Project Engineer or early-stage APM.
Experience on large-scale or design-build infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager and Superintendent in delivering projects from start to finish.
Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure scope, schedule, and quality targets are met.
Oversee RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
Track project costs, budgets, and forecasting.
Assist with change orders, estimates, and value engineering.
Verify quantities, progress, and subcontractor payments.
Maintain accurate job costing and reporting systems.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Support and mentor junior engineers on the project.
Skills
4+ years’ experience in heavy civil or infrastructure construction
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and processes
Strong communication skills across field teams, subcontractors, and clients
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, field-based environment
Education
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
EIT certification (or working toward it)
