ConeTec is seeking an Assistant Field Operator to join its geotechnical site investigation team in Salt Lake City. You will learn and support Field Operators and Engineers while working with a fleet of drilling and testing equipment in diverse environments.

This role emphasizes a strong work ethic, safety, and willingness to travel for projects. You will gain hands-on experience, participate in maintenance, and contribute to high-quality site operations.

Qualifications

• Experience or training relevant to drilling/sampling and heavy equipment operations.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Clean driving record and willingness to travel.

Responsabilités

• Set-up and operate drilling equipment and sampling systems following procedures.
• Provide timely assistance to Engineers and Technicians.
• Assist with mobilization/demobilization of equipment in difficult environments.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Communicate equipment issues to the Supervisor or Project Manager.
• Seek ways to improve procedures.
