Job summary

Planned Parenthood Votes! South Atlantic. is seeking a Field Director in Charlotte, NC to recruit, train, and supervise a canvass staff, building an office from the ground up. You will lead by example through field canvassing and drive long- and short-term goals with the director team.

Responsibilities include managing a 40-60 person team, coordinating reporting and payroll, and ensuring equity and safety. Local candidates in Charlotte/Raleigh preferred; August start through Election Day.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience, ability to motivate and manage a large team.
• Willingness to lead from the front and canvass several days a week.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to instill quality in others.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 40-60 hourly staff canvassing door-to-door.
• Lead canvassing and training sessions several days per week.
• Set goals and track staff performance and accountability.
• Provide ongoing motivation and staff support.
• Build and train a leadership team and promote diverse staffing.
