Job summary

Laborde Products is seeking experienced Field Service Technicians to diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair marine and industrial diesel engines and equipment. If you know diesel engines and take pride in quality work, this is a long-term opportunity with a stable company.

Marine experience is not required, and your background in heavy equipment, trucking, power generation, or other diesel environments may fit.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional diesel technician experience.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Engine rebuild experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair marine and industrial diesel engines and equipment.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and major engine work.
• Complete engine rebuilds based on experience.
• Reading service manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Perform field service and supporting customers.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and your assigned service vehicle.
