Qualifications

• 2+ years of related diesel equipment experience or an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology.
• Ability to travel up to 75% and perform 50%+ field work.
• Must have own tools and DOT Medical Certification.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Clean driving record and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Flexible/on-call hours.
• Keen attention to detail and initiative.
• Willingness to work in shop or field, safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: Diagnose, repair, and recondition machine systems per manufacturer specs; provide field service as directed by the Service Manager, including potential weekend/after-hours calls.
• Documentation and Communication: Clearly communicate findings, repair needs, and timelines; manage parts and supply orders; complete work orders accurately.
• Technical Development and Customer Focus: Participate in ongoing training and recommend maintenance upgrades that add value and improve performance.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow safety rules and regulations while performing work.
