Formación

• 4-6 years of diesel mechanic experience in a shop or field setting.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills; read schematics and manuals.
• Proven knowledge of methods and tools used in repair of John Deere equipment.
• Ability to perform field service independently and in shop as needed.
• Must own and maintain a full set of tools and equipment.
• Proficient with diagnostic software and computer-based repair analysis.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional communication.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong organization and time management.
• Able to work flexible shifts and respond to after-hours calls.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and power equipment in field or shop.
• Perform field service repairs safely, efficiently, and professionally.
• Operate diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and provide timely updates.
• Ensure work meets manufacturer specs and quality standards.
• Complete service docs, repair orders, and time logs accurately.
• Keep vehicle and tool inventory organized and in good condition.
• Collaborate with parts/service teams for timely job completion.
• Travel to customer sites as needed; represent the company professionally.
