Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Field Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III - Field Service) to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on complex rental equipment safely and professionally.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the field, a valid driver's license, and must own relevant tools. This position also requires strong mechanical aptitude and exceptional customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on complex rental equipment.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed.
• Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
