Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Field Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech IV - Field Service) to perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment with minimal supervision. You will support customers at job sites and contribute to safe, professional service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on equipment and tools.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed daily.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
