Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Field Diesel Mechanic – Customer Equipment Solutions (Service Tech III - Field Service - CES). You will perform maintenance and repairs of complex equipment on customer-owned gear with minimal supervision, delivering safe, professional service.

You will work to uphold high standards of safety and customer satisfaction while documenting work and supporting field operations, with opportunities for advancement within the Service Department.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of diesel engine maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with electrical and hydraulic system diagnostics.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Safe maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on customer equipment with independent judgment.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a timely manner.
