Job summary

Amrize in Clinton, MD is seeking a Mobile Equipment Mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain diesel engines and heavy mobile equipment across asphalt division sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems, and keep safety records.

Daily travel is required to regional job sites; you will work with operators and supervisors to minimize downtime and ensure equipment safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; diesel tech program preferred.
• 3+ years hands-on diesel/heavy equipment experience.
• CDL Class B with endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Transport and drive equipment to and from job sites safely.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect equipment for issues and potential failures.
• Maintain accurate repair records.
