As a Field Diesel Mechanic – Customer Equipment Solutions (Service Tech IV - Field Service - CES), you'll perform maintenance and repairs of complex equipment on customer-owned equipment with limited supervision. You will work in a highly skilled, safe, and professional manner, with opportunities for growth into leadership roles in our Service Department. Providing exceptional customer service is a key expectation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment using independent judgment.
• Travel to customer sites for repairs; maintain a clean and professional service vehicle.
• Assist in training lower-level technicians.
• Document work performed accurately and timely.
• Upsell and demonstrate equipment to customers.
• Assist with equipment and parts pickup and delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of tools.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and engines.
• Understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Own tools applicable to the position.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs frequently.
