About the Role

As a Field Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III - Field Service), you'll perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment safely and professionally. This role offers opportunities for growth into higher technician and leadership roles within our Service Department, with a focus on exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe maintenance and repairs on rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Travel to customer sites for equipment repairs and maintenance; maintain a clean and professional service vehicle.
• Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.
• Complete work documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist with equipment and parts pick-up and delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• 3-5 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools and engines.
• Own tools applicable to the position.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs frequently.
