Job summary

Aggreko plc is seeking an experienced Power Technician 2 for Chickasha, OK. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair generators and engines, visiting customer sites in a company vehicle and collaborating with fellow technicians on larger projects.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical skills, experience with diesel/gas engines (Cummins/Volvo/CAT), and the ability to interpret schematics. This role requires mobility, safety focus, and strong customer communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of mechanical, generator, engine, or field-service experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
• Must reside within approximately one hour of Chickasha, OK due to field-service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair generators and engines at customer sites and service center.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment failures and perform necessary repairs.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Assist with installation, setup, commissioning, and operation of rental power equipment.
• Work independently in the field and with other technicians on larger jobs.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate with customers and the service team.
• Follow Aggreko safety procedures and standards at all times.
